Wildberries company provides explanation regarding the current situation due to the application of additional control procedures for certain categories of goods within the framework of customs clearance in Russia, Wildberries said in a statement.

“The company is in constant dialogue with partners and relevant structures and is closely monitoring the development of the situation.

As part of this work, a meeting was organized with Armenian sellers, which was attended by more than 50 entrepreneurs. Company representatives discussed emerging issues with partners, listened to feedback, and continue to jointly develop possible solutions.

Let us also note that since April 20, customs clearance rules have been changed in the Russian Federation. In order to comply with the new requirements, additional documents have been required from sellers within the framework of the necessary updated procedures.

At the same time, products already in warehouses in the Russian Federation continue to be sold as usual, and sellers retain the opportunity to operate in the domestic market of Armenia.

All issues are being discussed in the prescribed manner with the participation of the relevant parties. The company hopes for a phased settlement of the situation and will inform about significant changes as they occur,” Wildberries added in its statement.

Wildberries is the largest online retailer and e-commerce marketplace in Russia and a leading platform in the CIS region, including Armenia.
