Iran has transmitted to Pakistan, which is mediating in the talks between Tehran and Washington, the text of a new proposal for discussing a long-term ceasefire, the IRNA news agency reported.

Iranian foreign ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei said ending the conflict and establishing peace was a priority objective of the Islamic Republic.
