Iran, through a Pakistani intermediary, conveyed a response to the American 9-point proposal, focusing on the issue of the “end of the war,” Tasnim reports.

According to Tasnim’s foreign policy correspondent, the US requested a two-month ceasefire in its proposal.

At the same time, Iran emphasized that all issues must be resolved within 30 days, and that the process should be aimed not at extending the truce, but specifically at the “end of the war.”

The 14-point Iranian proposal includes such topics as guarantees against military aggression, the withdrawal of American military forces from the area around Iran, the lifting of the naval blockade, the unfreezing of blocked Iranian assets, the payment of compensation, the removal of sanctions, and the end of the war on all fronts, including Lebanon, as well as a new mechanism for regulating the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and other issues.

Iran is awaiting an official US response to these proposals.
