Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioğlu. The Prime Minister welcomed the OSCE Secretary General’s visit to Armenia to participate in the 8th summit of the European Political Community. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance of further developing cooperation between Armenia and the OSCE, including through the implementation of programs aimed at strengthening Armenia’s capacities in various areas.
The OSCE Secretary General congratulated the Prime Minister on the summit and noted that it reflects the great international attention being paid to Armenia.
According to Feridun Sinirlioğlu, Armenia is a stable state in a turbulent region, which is also the result of the work of Prime Minister Pashinyan and the government of the Republic of Armenia.
The OSCE Secretary General added that every time he visits Yerevan, he is impressed by the progress achieved by Armenia.
During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the Armenia-OSCE cooperation agenda, as well as on issues of regional importance. In particular, they touched upon projects aimed at unblocking regional transport communications.
