European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen outlined the key areas of discussion ahead of the European Political Community summit, including issues of defense, economics, and regional cooperation.

According to her, one of the priorities remains the development of military capabilities and strengthening cooperation in the field of security.

Particular attention, as von der Leyen noted, is being paid to building reliable supply chains. In this context, the European Union is expanding cooperation with partners including the United States, India, Australia, and Mexico.

"With like-minded partners, it is possible to build stable and reliable supply chains," she emphasized, adding that Europe has significant potential in this area.

Speaking about the South Caucasus region, Ursula von der Leyen highlighted its importance in developing connectivity and transport corridors. In particular, Armenia is seen as a country with significant opportunities to strengthen regional and international connectivity.
