A protest took place in Yerevan, in parallel with the 8th European Political Community Summit underway Monday in the capital of Armenia.
The demonstration was held outside the Yerevan Municipality building, and it was led by Armen Ashotyan, the vice chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia, the former ruling force of the country.
Also, Ashotyan was holding a banner that read, "Stop hypocrisy. Stand for democracy."
