As part of the European Political Community summit, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan held a meeting with his Croatian counterpart, Andrej Plenković.

As reported to NEWS.am by the press service of the republic’s Government, Pashinyan, welcoming Andrej Plenković’s visit to Armenia and his participation in the 8th summit of the European Political Community, noted that relations between the two countries are at the level of high political dialogue, and that today this would be formalized by elevating relations to the level of strategic dialogue. The head of government mentioned the great potential for the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Croatia and expressed confidence that they would continue to grow and expand.

For his part, Plenković thanked the hosts for the warm welcome and for organizing the European Political Community summit. The Prime Minister of Croatia expressed confidence that today’s meeting would give new impetus to the advancement of bilateral multifaceted relations.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the further development of Armenian-Croatian relations and also touched upon various topics of regional significance.

Following the meeting, Pashinyan and Plenković signed a Joint Declaration on Strategic Dialogue between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Croatia.
