The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) received a report of an incident 14 km west of Mina Saqr, in the United Arab Emirates.

UKMTO received information from a third party that a fire had broken out on a vessel and urged ships in the vicinity to keep a safe distance.

According to the report, the cause of the fire has not yet been established.

No environmental impact has been reported.

The authorities are investigating. Vessels are advised to exercise caution while transiting and to report any suspicious activity to UKMTO.
