The Armenia-EU Summit is being held in Yerevan for the first time.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa arrived at the summit venue, where they were welcomed by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
The national anthems were played by the Armenian military band, and the summit participants welcomed the Armenian and European delegations.
Later, the signing of documents and a joint statement for the media will take place.
