French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Armenian Genocide memorial in Yerevan on Tuesday morning and paid tribute to the victims of the genocide.
Macron is in Armenia on a state visit. Today, he is scheduled to hold talks with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and sign documents.
In the evening, Pashinyan and Macron will visit Gyumri and participate in a concert dedicated to Armenian-French friendship.
