Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Although the CC [i.e. Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract party and its parliamentary faction] has received an order from above to turn the EU summit [in Yerevan] into a propaganda banner, presenting it as a manifestation of Armenia's sovereignty, independence, there is a silent discontent in the ranks of the CC.

Especially those [in the CC] who support maintaining some level of relations with the RF [i.e. the Russian Federation] are disappointed and angry with this event that has cost our budget billions.

They admit in private conversations that this event did not give Armenia anything; instead, the Europeans once again turned Armenia into a bridgehead for their geopolitical conflict, manifesting their aggression against Russia, and it is not known what this will cost us [i.e. Armenia] in the future.
