The Wildberries marketplace of Russia announced the phased resumption of sales of certain Armenian-made and labeled goods outside the borders of Armenia, as per the respective statement.

Earlier, due to the entry into force of new customs regulations in Russia and the need for sellers to submit additional documents to confirm the origin of goods, some deliveries were subject to additional checks and processing delays at sorting centers.

In order to streamline processes and prevent further delays, the availability of some product cards outside the borders of Armenia was temporarily limited.

As a result of joint work with state bodies, partners and stakeholders, a roadmap for regulating the situation has been developed, within the framework of which the availability of Armenian-made product cards has already been partially restored.

As part of the implementation of this roadmap, sellers are also provided with assistance, including individual technical support and assistance in product promotion, aimed at ensuring the full restoration of sales.

In the next phases, it is planned to also restore sales of goods manufactured in the EAEU territory, as well as goods manufactured outside the EAEU. At the same time, Wildberries continues to cooperate with sellers on collecting the necessary documents in order to fully restore sales.

In parallel, Wildberries is working in an accelerated mode to expand the technical capabilities of the platform in order to automate the document processing and verification processes.

A special section will also be launched on the platform with the “Made in Armenia” marking, where products manufactured in Armenia will be presented.
