Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia Arpine Sargsyan received a delegation led by Ivana Zivkovic, UN Assistant Secretary-General, UNDP Assistant Administrator and Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Laud the effective bilateral cooperation, Sargsyan expressed gratitude for the joint programs and the registered results, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia informs.
Ivana Zivkovic, in turn, highlighted the close partnership formed, emphasizing that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia is one of the best partners of the UNDP.
Arpine Sargsyan presented the reforms being implemented in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia and subordinate services, focusing in particular on criminal and community police.
The development of cooperation in disaster risk management and road traffic safety was discussed, too.
Also, an agreement was reached to continue close cooperation.
