I will not participate in the EAEU summit to be held on May 28-29. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who is currently on vacation and heads the ruling Civil Contract party’s proportional representation list for the parliamentary election on June 7, told this to reporters Monday.
“I informed the president of Russia about this back in April, during my visit to Russia. I also informed the president of Kazakhstan about my decision,” Pashinyan added.
The premier noted that he will not be able to leave Armenia due to the current election campaign season and the parade.
Pashinyan informed that Armenia will be represented at the upcoming Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) summit by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
