I think that this comparison is not appropriate. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who is currently on vacation and heads the ruling Civil Contract party’s proportional representation list for the parliamentary election on June 7, told this to reporters Monday, regarding the negative comparison between Armenia and Ukraine being made by Russia.

"I have great respect for Russia, Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova. I cannot allow myself to use the names of these countries as a negative criterion in comparison with Armenia. And Ukraine, and Georgia, and Moldova are wonderful countries, friendly countries of Armenia. How can I participate in a conversation where, for example, the name of Georgia will be used in a negative sense?" the Armenian premier added.
