YEREVAN. – On his way to a meeting, Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan stopped over at capital Yerevan’s Mashtots Park on Tuesday.
He toured the Park and observed the newly-installed kiosks, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Afterward, he offered Mayor Taron Margaryan his views in connection with the Park, and urged the Mayor to have the kiosks disassembled.
“Dear Taron, you yourself can see this is not so picturesque. The City Hall worked very effectively. You made the right decision. But, truly, [this] is not beautiful. And it would be good if you were to find a way and dismantle all this,” Serzh Sargsyan said in particular.
He also stressed: “Each and every one of us wish for their city to be beautiful, that all environmental rules are maintained, but we must do all this lawfully.”
Also, Armenia’s President highly appreciated the activities by the police officers who are carrying out their duties at Mashtots Park, and he encouraged them to continuously improve.
