The second president of Armenia and the "Armenia" bloc’s prime ministerial candidate for the parliamentary election on June 7, Robert Kocharyan, issued a message on the occasion of the Republic Day anniversary.

"In Sardarapat [in May 1918], our nation proved that it is capable of uniting and saving statehood in difficult times. This was done thanks to military heroism and courage.

On June 7 [of this year], by example of the unity of Sardarapat, we must manifest civic courage. With our vote, we must expel the enemy already within our country.

The best days of our state are ahead. Glory to the heroes of Sardarapat!" the message says.
