We declare that not only are we not going to withdraw from the Eurasian Economic Union, but we also intend to use our leverage and engagement to protect Armenia's economic interests, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated during a press briefing at the government Thursday.

"As for exports and imports, in this case too we are going on the road of diversification. And it did not start today. If you follow our statistics, you will see that our exports in various directions have increased by double the amount," the Armenian PM added.

Also, he expressed satisfaction with the fact that the Akhalkalaki-Kars railway has been opened for exports from Armenia.

"In addition, business delegations will soon leave for meetings to study potential markets along this railway line," the Armenian premier noted.

According to Pashinyan, Armenia has the opportunity to become an energy-independent country, as solar resources provide it with unlimited opportunities.

He added that Armenia will work together with the US in creating a new geological map.

At the same time, as the premier noted, Armenia will develop cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union to the maximum extent possible.
