The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor) will b restricting the import of fruit and vegetables from Armenia, starting from Saturday, according to a statement released by Rosselkhoznadzor.

“From May 30, 2026, Rosselkhoznadzor is imposing temporary restrictions on fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, greens, and strawberries being imported from Armenia. The restrictions will be in effect until the appropriate procedure is developed to ensure the safety of products being exported,” the statement said.
