Russia hopes that Armenia will be guided by pragmatism, and that reason will prevail over foreign interests, Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Maria Zakharova stated at Thursday’s press briefing.
“We [i.e. Moscow] expect that Yerevan will nevertheless choose the path of pragmatism. This is not about loving other countries, this is about loving oneself. We hope that this very pragmatism and foresight will prevail over emotions and foreign interests,” Zakharova said.
