The situation with Armenia was discussed in a practical way at the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meeting in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said.

“A practical discussion of the current situation took place, and everyone is well aware of that situation,” Ushakov said.

He noted that Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, who participated in the meeting instead of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, has a “positive, normal” disposition.

“He is a normal, intelligent person, he understands everything perfectly,” added the Russian presidential aide.

And to the question about whether the Armenian side had requested a separate meeting with the Russian president, Ushakov said: “No. A separate discussion was not planned, and there was not even a request.”
