At the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the leaders of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan have adopted a statement on the situation around Armenia, Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov said, Interfax reports.

“A statement by the four leaders was adopted there,” Ushakov told reporters Friday, answering the question as to in what context the situation around Yerevan’s plans to join the European Union was discussed.

The Russian presidential aide did not discuss the details of the statement, but said: “It will be published on the [Russian] president’s website.”
