The United States has carried out new strikes on Iranian targets, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported Monday on X. The strikes targeted Iranian radars and drone control points in the Goruk region and on Qeshm Island.

“The measured and deliberate strikes occurred on Saturday and Sunday in response to aggressive Iranian actions that included the shootdown of a U.S. MQ-1 drone that was operating over international waters,” the statement said. CENTCOM added that the strikes by US fighters destroyed Iranian air defenses, a ground control point, and two strike drones. No US servicemembers were injured in the operation.
