Azerbaijan is opening new transport corridors by investing in railway and automobile infrastructure, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated in his address at the official opening ceremony of the 31st Baku Energy Forum.

Recalling that the East-West Corridor is successfully operating, the Azerbaijani leader noted that the “Zangezur Corridor,” as a new branch of the East-West Corridor, will definitely be built in accordance with the document signed by the US president, the prime minister of Armenia, and him at the White House on August 8, 2025.
