We attach importance to the participation of the fraternal Yazidi people in state-building, and we are grateful to the Yazidi community and its representative, Ayser Isayan, for the warm welcome. Suren Petrosyan, who heads of the electoral list of Armenia’s Democratic Unity Party, announced this during their parliamentary election campaign Monday.

Within the framework of their election campaign meetings, the party members met with representatives of the Yazidi community of Armenia to discuss key issues of state development and the engagement of national minorities in Armenia’s public and political life.

Petrosyan said that a strong state cannot be built without mutual respect and the active participation of all its citizens.

Also, he expressed gratitude for the support and willingness to work together, and noted the importance of maintaining traditional friendly ties and strengthening internal unity for the future of Armenia.
