The current prime minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has turned the election campaign into a real war. Strong Armenia bloc’s prime ministerial candidate—businessman and philanthropist—Samvel Karapetyan on Tuesday stated this during a parliamentary election campaign meeting with the Tavush Province residents who visited him.
“Moreover, [Pashinyan has turned the election campaign into] an absolutely merciless war. Well, if you were a warring boy, you would have gone to Jermuk [city] for five days and warred [against the Azerbaijanis] there. You should have warred in Nagorno-Karabakh. Now he is warring against our people for some reason,” added Karapetyan.
Also, he called on his voters and supporters to unite, because only this is capable of strengthening the Strong Armenia bloc and ensuring its victory over the incumbent Armenian authorities.
According to the opposition politician, Armenia must get rid of polarization.
“This is just a political struggle, which will end on June 7 [parliamentary election]. After that, all of us, our entire people, must unite in one fist. Our main goal must become the development of the country. We must make it safe," Karapetyan added.
