A phone conversation took place between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. During the phone talk, the Armenian PM congratulated the Turkish president on the occasion of the past Kurban Bayram, the Turkish presidential press service reports.
Also, the process of normalization of Turkey-Armenia relations and regional issues were discussed. The Turkish president said that the normalization of relations between Turkey and Armenia is progressing with steps to start direct trade.
Erdogan added that Turkey is making efforts for peace and stability in the region and always supports steps in that regard.
