Government on Thursday will adopt an assistance program to subsidize the export of Armenia’s greenhouse products (tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and flowers), economy minister Gevorg Papoyan wrote on Facebook.

“We will also return the customs duty on fresh fruits/vegetables and flowers being exported to the EU. Subsidizing fruit exports will be presented next. Details at tomorrow’s government session,” Papoyan added Wednesday.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, on Tuesday addressing Armenians’ concerns about Russia’s ban on the import of Armenia’s agricultural products, had stated: “We will take care of pepper, you take care of peace.”
