The authorities of Kuwait have stated that the country's territory and airspace have not been used to attack any state, thereby dismissing Iran's claims that the US had carried out its latest strikes against Iran from Kuwaiti territory.
The refutation came against the backdrop of the summoning of Iran's chargé d'affaires to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA).
As stated in the official statement of the Kuwaiti MFA, Deputy Foreign Minister Hamad Suleiman Mashaan Al-Mashaan stated that Kuwait categorically rejects the use of its territory or airspace for any hostile action against any country.
He added that the statements of the Iranian side in this regard are baseless and not supported by any evidence.
