PreferredNarek Karapetyan, who heads the electoral list of the Strong Armenia bloc in Sunday’s elections to the National Assembly of Armenia, voted in Tashir town.
According to Karapetyan, he cast his ballot in the name of great changes in Armenia.
"In the name of great changes in our country and in the name of an Armenia being rebuilt. An Armenia being rebuilt, where Armenians are mainly busy rebuilding their country and not doing harm to each other, fighting with each other, opposing each other, let's rebuild, finally shake off the general background of these contradictions and turn our country into a serious, active state, not dealing with contradictions, complicating each other's lives," the politician told reporters.
According to him, it is also necessary to make Armenia such a powerful country that future generations can make it stronger, and not face the same problems.
“I also want to appeal to all our compatriots. I ask you all. This [i.e. voting] only takes 10 minutes. Go to the polls, go to the polls. We come quickly, we take the passport, we come [to the polling stations] as soon as possible. Don’t postpone it until the end of the day, so that you don’t suddenly be late. Go to the polls. Bring about big changes,” Narek Karapetyan noted.
He added that the incumbent authorities of Armenia are trying to achieve that as few people as possible vote in the parliamentary elections.
“When all our compatriots, the majority of them, participate in the elections, it will be a real expression of will,” Narek Karapetyan added.
