The Armenian National Congress (ANC) party’s prime ministerial candidate and vice-chairman, Levon Zurabyan, voted in Armenia’s parliamentary elections Sunday.

Subsequently, Zurabyan told reporters that he voted so that superpowers would not wage war in Armenia and reduce it to ruins, so that Armenia would become a transport hub that would connect not only the East with the West, but also the North with the South.

“I voted so that Armenia would become a technological paradise, for Armenia where oppositionists and [Armenian Apostolic Church] clergy will not be persecuted,” the ANC prime ministerial candidate added.
