Several people sustained injuries in a shooting near England's 2026 World Cup base camp in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, according to The New York Times.
The incident occurred on the night of June 6.
Arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers saw a large group of people who had scattered in different directions in a panic. As a result, nine people were taken to local hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police have not yet arrested any potential suspects, and their search is ongoing.
No information has been released about the cause of the incident.
The 2026 World Cup will be held from June 11 to July 19 in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
