The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has published the National Assembly (parliament) election results as of 07:30, based on data from 1,442 of the 2,005 polling stations of the country, having counted 68% of the ballots.

According to these data, the currently ruling Civil Contract party is in the lead, with a result of 49.92% (459,113 votes).

The Strong Armenia bloc of parties is in second place, having garnered 23.71% (218,029 votes). The “Armenia” bloc of parties is in third place, with 9.78% (89,958 votes).

The Prosperous Armenia Party is in fourth place, garnering 3.94% (36,275 votes).

And the Wings of Unity party, which occupies fifth place, currently has 2.33% (21,392 votes).

At least 105 MPs will be elected to the National Assembly of Armenia, unless the norms on providing additional parliamentary seats to some other political forces due to the peculiarities of the election law are applied.

The Armenian parliament is elected under the proportional representation system; that is, only by party lists.

Sixteen parties and two blocs are vying for seats in the 9th convocation of the parliament of Armenia. The threshold for entering the Armenian legislature is 4% for parties, and 8% for blocs.
