Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of the ruling Civil Contract party in Sunday’s parliamentary elections in Armenia.

In his message, Tokayev noted that, according to preliminary data from the majority of international observers, the electoral process in Armenia was open, fully compliant with the country’s current law, and with all the necessary conditions for the free expression of citizens’ will.

Also, Tokayev wished Pashinyan further successful work aimed at realizing Armenia’s long-term national interests.

“Kazakhstan is ready to continue active cooperation with friendly Armenia in all areas of mutual interest,” the Kazakh president added.

In conclusion, he wished the entire Armenian people success in the development of statehood, as well as peace, tranquility, and prosperity.
