The Israeli Air Force carried out an operation in Iran on Sunday night.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) struck a petrochemical complex in the Iranian city of Bandar-e Mahshahr, the IDF press service reports.

The strikes damaged facilities at the petrochemical plant in Iran's Khuzestan Province, Iranian Al Alam television reported.
