Turkey expects quick signing of the peace treaty between Azerbaijan and Armenia, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said.

He added, however, that Azerbaijan's “justified” concerns must be dispelled in order to achieve final peace.

According to the Turkish FM, Ankara intends to continue to make every effort to establish lasting peace in the South Caucasus.

"Turkey will do everything possible to establish peace in the South Caucasus. The will shown by the parties has opened a concrete window of opportunity for the region," Fidan noted.

Also, the FM stated that Turkey continues its dialogue with Armenia, but in close coordination with Azerbaijan.

In addition, Hakan Fidan noted that significant progress has been made over the past four years in the process of normalizing relations between Turkey and Armenia.
