During today’s trilateral meeting, the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia discussed the development of the Middle Corridor transport route. Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this at a joint press conference following talks in Istanbul, local media reported.

The minister noted that the meeting emphasized the importance of the so-called Zangezur Corridor, and the parties also exchanged views on the implementation of the TRIPP project, which is part of this transport route.

"It was noted with great satisfaction that construction of the Kars–Igdir–Dilucu railway line is continuing in Turkey," the minister added.
