The June 7, 2026 elections to the National Assembly of Armenia were historic for the Armenian statehood, our national identity, and the fate of the Armenian people worldwide. From the very beginning, the electoral process was accompanied by an unprecedented abuse of administrative resources by the authorities. This is stated in a declaration released by the "Wings of Unity" party.

"A coordinated scheme was in place: responsible campaign representatives of the top leadership, including community heads, universally subjected citizens to coercion and fear. They forced people not to attend meetings with us, intimidating them with threats that a family member would be fired from their job. There were numerous cases where, according to citizens, authorities demanded that they take a photo of the ballot paper to prove afterward that they voted for the government.

Citizens were widely required to show up at government rallies under the threat of dismissal from work, tax penalties, etc. We even published audio recordings proving these facts, where kindergarten directors are being coerced, but we have received no response from law enforcement agencies.

The entire campaign, instigated by the authorities, was accompanied by insults and hate speech, as a result of which citizens had no opportunity to understand and evaluate substantive programs.

These elections were also notable for overt interference from foreign states—from Baku, Ankara, Brussels, Washington, and Moscow.

Consequently, instead of uniting the Armenian people, these elections further deepened the division and spread intolerance among the people. The biggest problem under these conditions is the reproduction of the CC (Civil Contract) government with its anti-Armenian policy.

We are convinced that the ruling party did not actually receive the support it attributes to itself in the official results. We are convinced that the votes of citizens in favor of 'Wings of Unity' were falsified.

Therefore, we categorically reject the announced election results and consider them illegal, failing to reflect the true will of the citizens of Armenia.

We are initiating a recount process of the voting results. We are discussing the issue of contesting the election results.

At the same time, we express our deepest gratitude to all those citizens who trusted us. The citizen is the foundation of democracy, and every vote deserves respect.

Through these elections, the voice of the Armenian citizen has been stolen, along with their right to determine the future of their state.

We do not intend to reconcile with what happened. We are not going to remain silent. We are not going to abandon our responsibility.

Our struggle continues—on all possible legal, political, and public platforms.
