As we have already announced, the Strong Armenia bloc is currently thoroughly investigating and documenting all violations committed during the electoral process. Our final decision will be made solely based on facts, evidence. Strong Armenia bloc member Artur Danielyan wrote this on Facebook regarding National Assembly (parliament) elections that were held Sunday.

“We fully realize the importance of the vote, will, and expectations of hundreds of thousands of citizens, as well as the great responsibility we bear before our compatriots. We assure: we will not disappoint you.

As always, we are guided not by emotions or the influence of the moment, but by measured judgment, responsibility, and state thinking. Our every step will be weighed, justified, and aimed at protecting the trust of citizens and the interests of Armenia.

We are grateful for your trust, patience, and support. Let us recall that this morning Narek Karapetyan, who heads the Strong Armenia [blocs electoral] list, had announced that they are waiting for the CEC’s [i.e. the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia] decision regarding the PAP [i.e. the Prosperous Armenia Party], after which they will announce their actions,” Artur Danielyan added.

The PAP received 3.996 percent of the vote in the parliamentary elections. And if its votes reach 4 percent as a result of the recount, it will also enter parliament and have five MPs.
