Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has called on the US to withdraw its troops from Middle East countries.
“Despite its defeats on the battlefield, the U.S. opted to test our determination. Our Powerful Armed Forces will leave no attack or threat unanswered. Leave our region if you want to be safe. History of the Persian Gulf has many chapters on dire fates of intruding outsiders,” the Iranian FM wrote on X.
Earlier, the US Central Command announced strikes on Iran after an American Apache military helicopter was shot down over the Strait of Hormuz. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran attacked American military bases in the Middle East.
