The United States Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced the completion of an additional series of strikes against targets inside Iran, conducted at the direction of President Donald Trump.

According to the command, US forces struck military intelligence and surveillance facilities, communication systems, and air defense positions. The operation utilized assets from the US Marine Corps, Air Force, and Navy, which deployed precision-guided munitions.

CENTCOM stated that the targets consisted of facilities that, according to Washington's assessment, posed a threat to US military personnel and international commercial shipping in the region.

The command characterized the strikes as a response to Iran's "unprovoked and ongoing aggression" and emphasized that US forces remain at full combat readiness.
