Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan cannot see how Russia can unilaterally revise the price of its natural gas in Armenia.

During a press briefing Thursday, responding to statements from Moscow that if Armenia’s European vector continues, the Russian natural gas tariff in the country will change, Pashinyan stated that there is an agreement and there are agreements—and long-term ones at that.

“I cannot see how the [Russian] party will refuse [them]; this is a non-contractual position. But we [i.e. Armenia] are considering all scenarios,” Pashinyan said.
