The Armenian government has established a visa-free regime for holders of United Nations Laissez-Passer and European Union Laissez-Passer travel documents to visit Armenia.
The decision will allow officials holding the aforesaid EU and UN travel documents to visit and stay in Armenia without a visa for a maximum period of 180 days within a year.
According to the explanation of this decision, starting from July 1, 2025, citizens of 116 countries who have a residence status—which is valid for at least six months from the date of entry into Armenia—of the US, European Union countries, Schengen Agreement countries, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or Oman, whose validity is at least six months from the date of entry into Armenia, have been exempted from the visa requirement for entry into Armenia.
