Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Those at the CC [i.e. the ruling Civil Contract party] are anxiously awaiting Sunday, when the final results of the [parliamentary] elections [on June 7] will be publicized, and only after that [PM] Nikol Pashinyan will make personnel decisions.

They say that he will be guided by the election results: those officials and party members who did not justify his expectations and did not “score” high percentages for the CC will be dismissed, or will not receive new positions.

The provincial governors, who were the heads of the [the CC’s] provincial [election] headquarters ex officio and are considered the main ones responsible for the results registered in their territories, are especially worried. Now the question of their staying in office or not depends on the CC’s numbers [in the aforesaid elections].

The CC is especially dissatisfied with the numbers in Lori and Shirak [Provinces]. "Democrat" Pashinyan has decided not only to influence people's free expression of will, but also to punish officials who have not sufficiently used administrative levers and not terrorized voters.
