The draft memorandum on the resolution of the conflict between Iran and the United States consists of 14 points, Mehr News Agency reported Friday, and disseminated the document.
“The agreement includes US commitments to lift sanctions [in Iran], withdraw troops from Iran, lift the naval blockade [of Iran], [re]open the Strait of Hormuz, lift oil restrictions [on Iran], and unfreeze Iranian assets,”
Mehr’s Telegram channel said. In addition, the US must present a plan to restore Iran’s economy, and the final negotiations between the parties will focus on nuclear and economic issues, without discussing Tehran’s missile program.
The aforesaid news agency added that this draft requires the approval of the relevant bodies. Also, according to Mehr, which cited the draft memorandum, Iran and the US will hold talks on the Iranian nuclear program within 60 days, the results of which are expected to lead to the signing of the agreement.
