The US is accountable for the implementation of a possible agreement with Iran, and Israel is accountable for stopping its attacks on Lebanon, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Monday.

Referring to the US responsibility for the implementation of the aforesaid agreement, Araghchi said that Israel’s aggression and destabilizing attacks against Lebanon must be completely stopped, the Iranian state-run IRIB television and radio company informs on Telegram.

Araghchi made this statement during three separate telephone conversations with the foreign ministers of Turkey, Egypt, and Iraq.

Also, the Iranian foreign minister highly appreciated the contribution of his colleagues in reducing tensions and establishing stability in the region. In addition, Araghchi stressed the need for continued intergovernmental consultations and close cooperation on this matter.
