A consultation headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was held in the government, during which the current trends and upcoming actions in the export sector of Armenia were discussed.
In particular, the export amount of the country’s agricultural and other products, as well as actions and measures being taken towards diversification were presented, the PM’s office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. Reference was made to the progress of programs to assist Armenia’s exports to European Union member states and several other countries, the respective tools and mechanisms being introduced, and actions to provide assistance to Armenia’s farms.
Pashinyan considered it necessary to maintain constant contact with producers in order to improve export promotion measures, programs and actions, identify problems, and find necessary solutions. In this context, the premier underscored the consistent implementation of actions aimed at diversifying Armenia’s economy and close cooperation between the state and the private sector in this regard.
