US President Donald Trump has stated that he held a "very good conversation" with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, both Moscow and Kyiv may be open to finding a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine.

"I see that we may be able to do something. I think they are both open to it," Trump told reporters following a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Évian-les-Bains.

The American leader noted that the talks were positive and leave room for further diplomatic settlement.
