During a joint press conference with French President Emmanuel Macron at the G7 summit in Évian-les-Bains, US President Donald Trump announced that the agreement with Iran is "fully signed."

Confirming that the document has been finalized, Trump noted that the Strait of Hormuz is expected to be "completely open" by Friday. He stated that Iran has agreed not to possess nuclear weapons, emphasizing that compliance with this condition will be enforced through "strong controls."

The US President made it clear that Iran will not receive any sanctions relief until it fulfills its obligations under the deal. "It's a behavior issue, really. If they do what they're supposed to do, it kicks in," Trump noted. He reiterated that Iran "will not have nuclear weapons," adding, "they have agreed to that."

Separately, the American leader expressed optimism that the US will likely not need to deploy military force against Iran again. "Hopefully, it'll be a good relationship and we'll get along. If not, we go back to where we were. But I don't think that's going to be necessary," Trump stated.

He also added that the text of the agreement will be published in the near future, without providing further specifics of the document.
