The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan is over. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced this during the debates on approving the report on the implementation of the 2025 state budget of Armenia at Tuesday’s session of the National Assembly.

“With the results of the 2026 [parliamentary] elections [on June 7], the people of Armenia stood up for peace,” the Armenian premier noted.

According to Pashinyan, the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan has already given new impetus to economic development.

“People need to see economic growth in their daily lives. That is why I have made a decision to increase pensions in Armenia,” the prime minister said.
